Over the years, Dr. Shuster served as a Staff Research Associate in the Department of Oral Surgery in University of California San Francisco, where he participated in numerous research projects and has several publications in scientific journals.

However, his medical experience dates back 30 years to his dental school training in Moscow. He has practiced family and cosmetic dentistry before arriving in San Francisco in 1990.

To remain up to date with advancements of contemporary dentistry he successfully completed continued education courses and workshops: New Techniques and Materials in Cosmetic Dentistry, Advanced Endodontics (Root Canal Treatment), Dental Implantology, How to Use Local Anesthetics at Their Maximum Effectiveness, Infection Control. He is committed in providing quality dental care while exceeding the expectations of his patients.

Dr. Shuster is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and San Francisco Dental Society.

Dr. Shuster resides in San Francisco with his wife and two sons.

Valentina Yasinsky, DDS

Dr. Yasinsky has been practicing dentistry in California for more than 11 years after she received her license from the California Dental Board. Dr. Yasinsky was awarded her Doctorate of Dental Sciences from Moscow School of Dental Medicine in 1995 (graduated with honors). Following graduation, she pursued advanced education and completed a two year residency program in Endodontics, Oral Pathology and Periodontics.

Dr. Yasinsky is meticulous and competent in cosmetic dentistry and prosthodontic restorative techniques.  An expert in treatment planning, she presents multiple alternatives for treatment to her patients and allows each individual to pick which option is best for them.  Dr. Yasinsky loves to work with children.  It is her philosophy that caries prevention and gum care start in early childhood, so she focuses on patient education in excellent dental hygiene. 

To stay up-to-date with the latest technology and developments in the dental field, Dr. Yasinsky completed continuing education workshops in the following topics:

• Cosmetic Restorations
• Managing the Very Young Dental Patients
• Anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide
• Restorations Over Dental Implants.

Vlad Shuster, DMD

Vlad Shuster received his degree from Harvard School of Dental Medicine. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Shuster went on to complete an Endodontics (Root Canal Therapy) Specialty Certificate program in UCLA.

Dr. Shuster is an active member of the endodontic and dental community, and participates in the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the San Francisco Dental Society.

Currently, Dr. Shuster flies to Boston once a month to teach at Harvard Dental School. In his spare time he enjoys golf, snowboarding, going to the gym and he loves movies.

Lana

On the left is Lana, our office manager and registered dental assistant. She enjoys getting to know all the patients and is committed to creating a pleasant environment for them. She is very experienced in preventive dental care.

Gina

In the center is Gina, our clinical assistant. She enjoys working with our patients and answering any questions they may have.

Valerie

Standing on the right is Valerie, our patient coordinator. She enjoys getting involved with the community as well as getting to know our patients and their families.
